\n Ezra Miller\u2018s role in Prime Video\u2018s Invincible <\/em>has seemingly been recast in the wake of the actor\u2019s controversies leading up to the release of The Flash<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n In season one of the animated series<\/a>, Miller, who uses they\/them pronouns, voiced District Attorney Sinclair, a genius who attended Upstate University and believes that human weaknesses can be solved by engineering. After being defeated by the Invincible team, he returns in this week\u2019s episode of season two, \u201cI\u2019m Not Going Anywhere.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n This time around, however, it app<\/a>ears the mad scientist is no longer voiced by Miller but instead by Eric Bauza. The actor has more than 350 voice credits, including X-Men \u201997<\/em>, Krapopolis,<\/em> Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles<\/em> and Rick & Morty.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n The Hollywood Reporter <\/em>has reached out to Miller\u2019s rep and Prime Video for comment. <\/p>\n

\n Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, Zazie Betz, Seth Rogen, J.K. Simmons, Walton Goggins, Mark Hamill, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Mahershala Ali, Zachary Quinto, Jason Mantzoukas, Kevin Michael Richardson, Grey Griffin, Khary Payton and Melise round out the Invincible <\/em>cast. <\/p>\n

\n The controversies surrounding Miller began in April 2020, when a video appeared of them in Reykjavik, Iceland, where they appeared to choke a female fan outside of a bar. The string of incidents continued over the next two years and included protective orders against the actor and several arrests. <\/p>\n

\n In August 2022, the Fantastic Beasts <\/em>actor issued a statement apologizing for their behavior and noted they were experiencing \u201ccomplex mental health issues\u201d and seeking treatment. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cHaving recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,\u201d the statement read. \u201cI want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n The final episode of Invincible<\/em> season two, which was split into two parts, premieres April 4 on Prime Video. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
