The evocative score of Frieren: Beyond Journey\u2019s End<\/em> will be performed live at the National Convention Hall of PACIFICO Yokohama on August 21, 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

Performing for the night is the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong>, led by conductor Tajiri Shinsuke<\/strong>. Frieren <\/em>composer Evan Call<\/strong> (My Happ<\/a>y Marriage<\/em>, Violet Evergarden<\/em>) and singer Milet<\/strong>, who sang the anime<\/a>\u2019s ending song \u201cAnytime Anywhere,\u201d will also make an appearance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The pleasure of experiencing Frieren<\/em>\u2018s music live will cost 9,600 yen (~US$63.43, tax-included) per ticket. Attendees can begin to enter the venue at 6.30 PM JST, and the concert will begin at 7 PM JST.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The official name of the event is Frieren: Beyond Journey\u2019s End Orchestra Concert, although\u00a0the Frieren: Beyond Journey\u2019s End<\/em> X (formerly Twitter<\/a>) account took the opportunity to write \u201cEnsou no Frieren\u201d \u2014 \u201densou\u201d meaning \u201cmusical performance\u201d \u2014 as the caption for its announcement post, a play on the manga\/anime\u2019s Japanese title of Sousou no Frieren<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Frieren: Beyond Journey\u2019s End\u00a0<\/em>fantasy anime ran from September 2023 to March 2024, with its first four episodes all premiering on September 29, 2023. Crunchyroll, Muse Asia, and Bilibili streamed the anime. Its soundtrack<\/a> was composed by Evan Call<\/strong> (My Happy Marriage<\/em>, Violet Evergarden<\/em>) and will go on sale on April 17, 2024.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Keiichirou Saitou<\/strong>\u00a0(Bocchi the Rock!<\/em>) directed the show at Madhouse with series<\/a> composition by Tomohiro Suzuki<\/strong>\u00a0(One-Punch Man<\/em>) and character designs by Reiko Nagasawa<\/strong>\u00a0(takt op.Destiny<\/em>). Other staff include:<\/span><\/p>\n

The Shogakukan-published manga written by\u00a0Kanehito Yamada\u00a0<\/b>and drawn by\u00a0Tsukasa Abe\u00a0<\/b>began serialization in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 2020 and has 12 tankoubon volumes as of December 2023. It won the grand prize at Manga Taisho 2021 and was one of the winners of the 69th Shogakukan Manga Award.<\/span><\/p>\n
