JPEGMAFIA\u2018s recent behavior has prompted him to issue a public apology to his devoted fans and a promise that he would do better.<\/p>\n

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter<\/a>, on Thursday (April 4), the rapp<\/a>er took accountability for his actions and seemed genuinely sorrowful for his behavior.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to apologise; for the negative energy I\u2019ve had this year,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI was acting irresponsibly before, and thats not what I am about.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I get frustrated at one thing or person. Sometimes, I act out in a way that isn\u2019t right. Even if i feel and know that i am in the right. Im sorry for projecting that energy onto my fans that i love.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cI\u2019ve refocused & i have been nonstop working on my album for you & i hope you all love it. & Even if you don\u2019t, I\u2019m happy knowing that my fans understand I put real work into everything. And just to be clear, I am apologizing to my fans and no one else.\u201d<\/p>\n

The behavior JPEGMAFIA seemed to be pointing to is related to the beef he\u2019s had with the likes of Kanye West and Freddie Gibbs in recent months.<\/p>\n

At the top of the year, JPEGMAFIA called out\u00a0Kanye West\u00a0for apparently overlooking him while taking shots at\u00a0Freddie Gibbs\u00a0in the process.<\/p>\n

In a since-deleted rant posted on X on January 14, Peggy vented about the Chicago rap icon \u201cskipping over\u201d him in favor of working with other artists he feels are less deserving.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlso Kanye West i respect u but the way u acknowledge n-ggas who have less to offer u than me makes me feel a way,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIm a scientist in the lab a surgeon bruh u and u skip over me for n-ggas thats getting they baby mommas fucked on camera. I wanna make money fuck these n-ggas.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a follow-up post, JPEGMAFIA threw shade at Ye\u2019s song with Ty Dolla $ign\u00a0\u201cEverybody,\u201d which\u00a0samples the Backstreet Boys\u2019 1997 hit of the same name.<\/p>\n

\u201cU got 27 n-ggas tweaking hi hats just to make some mid. Talk to a real scientist brother stop wasting time. This n-gga got 80 n-ggas in a room and make a backstreet boys song,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

He concluded: \u201cAnd if u got a problem with me saying that about your baby momma do something about it im in la and i dont run from no one.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
