Kodak Black has shared an update about his path to sobriety with his fans, claiming that he\u2019s happy now that he\u2019s gotten a handle on his prescript<\/a>ion pill usage.<\/p>\n

Taking to his Instagram Live on Saturday (April 6), the Florida rapper claimed that his life has been a bit on the upswing since he quit abusing Percocets.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember a point in my life when I was chewing a lot of Percs,\u201d he said. \u201cBro, I\u2019m proud of myself. I\u2019ve never been this happy in my life, bro. I don\u2019t know where this came from, what the fuck going on. I ain\u2019t even going to say I\u2019m anti-Perc. Like, I never took a Perc since I been home. But bro, my dosage so low that I can\u2019t believe it myself. Man, I\u2019m telling y\u2019all, bro.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cBefore I just went to jail, bro, I was taking\u2026 I can talk about this because it\u2019s my testimony. Bro, I\u2019m hollering at y\u2019all, ain\u2019t no shame in my shit. I was taking, bro, at least 100 Percs. Bro, my average was 40 Percocets. I\u2019m telling y\u2019all this man. I ain\u2019t know, to the point where I look at this shit and be like, what the fuck was wrong with me, bruh? I listen to my music and be like, bro, what the fuck, fam?\u201d<\/p>\n

In another live stream, Kodak Black blasted the comparisons between himself and Diddy, by insinuating that only one of them is guilty of sexual assault even though\u00a0he\u2019s the one who was previously convicted of it.<\/p>\n

On Monday (April 1),\u00a0Yak went live on Instagram with Adin Ross\u00a0and addressed viewers who were comparing him to the Bad Boys mogul amid\u00a0the latter\u2019s ongoing troubles with the law.<\/p>\n

\u201cKodak look like Florida Diddy,\u201d he said, reading out one of the comments while visibly inebriated. \u201cNo Diddy \u2014 take that, take it. I\u2019ll smack me an elderly bitch, I even might kill me a kid, but I ain\u2019t raping. I mean [mumbling] kill him as a baby, but I ain\u2019t raping.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in 2016,\u00a0the Florida rapper was accused of raping a teenage girl\u00a0in a Florence Comfort Inn & Suites hotel room following his performance at the Treasure City Nightclub.<\/p>\n

Five years later, he plead guilty to first-degree assault and battery in exchange for 18 months of probation after being slapped with a 10 year sentence. He was originally facing up to 30 years, but the deal spared him from a longer prison sentence.<\/p>\n

The \u201cTunnel Vision\u201d hitmaker later tweeted about the above experience and explained that he only took the plea deal so he could put the incident behind him.<\/p>\n
