Diddy\u2018s son Justin Combs has seen his lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, aim at the Department of Homeland Security for allegedly \u201cusing the press\u201d during their raids of the embattled Bad Boy mogul\u2019s homes in Miami and Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

On the latest episode of the Beyond the Legal Limit<\/a><\/em> podcast, Lichtman \u2014 once an attorney for El Chapo and mob scion John Gotti Jr. \u2014 claimed that the feds abused their authority when they raided the mansions by having members of the media<\/a> at the ready as they executed the warrants.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were all there, ready to record it,\u201d he claimed. \u201cThey were all there, told about it and breathlessly reporting what anonymous agents of law enforcement are telling them about what they\u2019re looking for, evidence of sex trafficking.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cThat\u2019s bad because that\u2019s just an evil thing for our government or law enforcement to do. By using the press to leak what they\u2019re looking for, they\u2019re just dirtying a potentially future jury pool.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lichtman did not address the recent sexual lawsuit brought against Justin\u2019s brother, Christian \u201cKing\u201d Combs, which has also been filed in the wake of the raids.<\/p>\n

The suit, which was filed on Thursday (April 4) in Los Angeles Superior Court, also lists the Bad Boy mogul as a defendant, according to court documents obtained by\u00a0NBC News<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Grace O\u2019Marcaigh, the plaintiff in the case, alleges that the Hip Hop scion raped her in 2022, just a few days before Diddy threw his annual New Year\u2019s Eve yacht party. What\u2019s more, O\u2019Marcaigh alleges that the the yacht party in question was advertised as a \u201cwholesome family event,\u201d but that it turned into a \u201chedonistic environment\u201d before she knew it.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike father, like son,\u201d said attorney Tyrone Blackburn, who is representing both O\u2019Marcaigh and producer Lil Rod,\u00a0who filed a similar suit against Diddy in February, in a statement after the filing was made public. \u201cIt gives us no joy or pleasure in filing this suit against Christian Combs who has clearly adopted his father\u2019s pattern and practice of depravity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aaron Dyer, attorney for both King Combs and Diddy, responded to the lawsuit with a statement that focused largely on Blackburn: This is just another lewd and meritless claim from Tyrone Blackburn \u2014 just like what he filed in the Rodney Jones lawsuit, which he still has not served. This complaint is filled with the same kind of manufactured lies and irrelevant facts we\u2019ve come to expect from Blackburn.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is exactly why the federal judge in New York slapped him two days ago<\/a> for a \u2018pattern of behavior\u2019 in \u2018improperly [filing] cases in federal court to garner media attention, embarrass defendants with salacious allegations, and pressure defendants to settle quickly,\u2019 and why he was referred to the disciplinary committee in the Southern District of New York.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded: \u201cWe will be filing a motion to dismiss this outrageous claim.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
