Fallout<\/em> will premiere on Prime Video later this week and it looks like a second season is essentially guaranteed. Though the streamer has not yet officially renewed the show, Prime Video will receive a $25 million tax incentive to film season two of the series<\/a> in California.<\/p>\n

Starring Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins, Aaron Moten, Mois\u00e9s Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O\u2019Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones, the series, based on the Bethesda video game<\/a> franchise, is set 200 years after a nuclear attack and follows the survivors living in what was Los Angeles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Per Deadline<\/a>, California Governor Gavin News<\/a>om said the following about the Fallout<\/em> TV series:<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom bringing\u00a0Fallout<\/em>\u00a0home to keeping classics in California, this program has helped our iconic, world-leading entertainment sector create tens of thousands of good jobs for Californians and generate billions of dollars for communities across the state over the past 15 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

CBS prequel NCIS: Origins,\u00a0 The Pitt,<\/i> a Max hospital drama starring Noah Wyle,<\/i> and Dr. Odyssey, <\/i>starring Joshua Jackson, <\/i>have also been awarded substantial tax incentives to film in California.<\/p>\n

NCIS: Origins<\/em> executive producers Mark Harmon, Sean Harmon, Gina Lucita Monreal, and David J. North also spoke about the tax incentive for the upcoming CBS series:<\/p>\n
