Paul Wall and That Mexican OT have delivered a visual for their second collaboration, \u201cCovered In Ice,\u201d which app<\/a>eared on Wall\u2019s 2023 album The Great Wall<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Directed by D. Will Get It Done, and released on Friday (April 12), the video finds the pair trade bars about wealth, opulence, and dripping in diamonds for the fifth track off of The Great Wall<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mouthpiece is a light show\/ Sialoquent, cause light snow\/ Head-to-toe dry, ice cold\/ Wristwear Lite Brite, dynamite, might blow,<\/em>\u201d Wall raps.<\/p>\n

Later in the track, That Mexican OT spits, \u201cGot a grill so shiny, got me feelin\u2019 like The People\u2019s Champ\/ The way I wrote my song, got it soundin\u2019 like it was Bandcamp\/ Walkin\u2019 with a stick, got me feelin\u2019 like Little Bamm-Bamm\/ Yoppers and choppers, gonna pop \u2019em, they goin\u2019 blam-blam.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in March, That Mexican OT dropped his sophomore album, Texas Technician<\/em>, and he brought along DaBaby,\u00a0Paul Wall,\u00a0and more for the ride.<\/p>\n

The Texas native revealed the tracklist with a callback to the 2000s as he shared a picture of a blank CD that had the songs written on it. Alongside the aforementioned names,\u00a0Slim Thug,\u00a0Moneybagg Yo,\u00a0Fredo Bang,\u00a0and\u00a0Z-RO\u00a0are also among the featured guests.<\/p>\n

In a whirlwind year,\u00a02024\u00a0DX<\/em>\u00a0Rising Star\u00a0That Mexican OT skyrocketed to fame with his smash hit \u201cJohnny Dang,\u201d paying homage to the famed Houston jeweler to the stars. The summer anthem \u2014 which also features Johnny\u2019s business partner Paul Wall \u2014 not only graced the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 11 weeks but also earned a RIAA gold certification.<\/p>\n

Capitalizing on his success, the 24-year-old Bay City, Texas rhymer dropped his debut studio album\u00a0Lonestar Luchado<\/em>, marked by a memorable performance at a Houston Spotify concert and coveted spot on the platform\u2019s Most Necessary playlist. Fusing his Tejano roots with influences from East Coast heavyweights like Slick Rick, Eminem, and Big Pun, the 18-track project features standout tunes like \u201cGroovin,\u201d \u201cSkelz\u201d and \u201cMissed Calls.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kicking 2024 off with a bang, OT (meaning \u201coutta Texas\u201d) unveiled the visual treatment for \u201c02.02.99,\u201d which will be the opening track on the new album.<\/p>\n

He also previously released the DaBaby-assisted \u201cPoint Em Out\u201d earlier this month, along with a video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
