\n Grimes took to social media<\/a> on Sunday to apologize for the technical issues during her Coachella performance this weekend. <\/p>\n

\n The singer-songwriter struggled with equipment malfunctions throughout her show on Saturday, with problems plaguing the programming of her tracks at the mixing desk that left her screaming into the microphone throughout the second half of her set. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cThe cdjs were showing me bpms like 370 so I couldn\u2019t even mix manually by ear and the front monitors were off so it was literally sonic chaos on my end trying to guess how stuff was sounding for u guys,\u201d she explained on X<\/a>, formerly Twitter. <\/p>\n

\n Her statement also explained she outsourced certain aspects of the performance \u201cto save time.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI wanted to come back rly strong and usually I always handle every aspect of my show myself \u2013 to save time this was one of the first times I\u2019ve outsourced essential things like rekordbox bpm\u2019s and letting someone else organize the tracks on the sd card etc,\u201d she wrote. \u201ci had a bad feeling beforehand not having run everything thru the cdjs myself and tho I flagged it I wasn\u2019t insistent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Coachella began its first of two weekends on Saturday on the grounds at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
