She will not hesitate to take back a gift she once gave \u2014 especially if it\u2019s worth a good chunk of change!<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-661f1fac2fc8e-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>During a tour of her home in Los Angeles for <em>Architectural Digest<\/em>, the 33-year-old actress showed off her TV room, where she and her family \u201cspend the most time\u201d in. The space is full of comfy chairs, her 3-year-old son <strong>Rhodes<\/strong>\u2019 toys, a television (obviously), and \u201cthe start of a <strong>Joni Mitchell<\/strong> shrine.\u201d It is even home to a gift she once gave to a former partner and took back! So it comes as no surprise there\u2019s a shelf behind the couch in her TV room filled with books, including a<strong> Charles Portis<\/strong> novel, <em>Norwood<\/em>, that did not initially belong to her. The <em>Scream Queens<\/em> alum gifted it to a boyfriend but later got it back from him when they broke up. Why? She found out how much it was worth and wanted to keep it! She explained:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-661f1fac2fc93-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis is a book I actually gave as a gift to my ex, but then we broke up. I saw how much it was worth and I kept it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"highlight\">OMG, Emma!!<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>It is unknown if her book is a signed copy or a first edition. However, <strong>Etsy<\/strong> showed the novel in similar condition \u2014 which is a \u201crare find\u201d and \u201cvintage from the 1960s\u201d \u2014 costs a whopping $4,500! Damn! If that is how much Emma discovered her copy was worth, it is no wonder she took back the gift!<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-661f1fac2fc97-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>We wonder how her ex reacted! And who even is the ex-boyfriend in question?? The <em>Unfabulous<\/em> star gave zero hints about his identity, unfortunately. But as you may know, she previously dated <strong>Hayden Christensen<\/strong>, <strong>Christopher Hines<\/strong>, <strong>Evan Peters<\/strong>, and<strong> Garrett Hedlund<\/strong>. Could it have been any of them? Or was it a different ex? Hmm. We may never find out! Not unless he comes forward or she spills the beans!
