\n Family Guy<\/em> is 22 seasons in and it doesn\u2019t look like Seth MacFarlane has any plans to end the beloved animates series<\/a> anytime soon.<\/p>\n

\n The creator and star of the popular show recently told the Los Angeles Times<\/a> <\/em>in a new profile celebrating 25 years since the show initially aired, \u201cAt this point, I don\u2019t see a good reason to stop.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n \u201cPeople still love it,\u201d he said. \u201cIt makes people happ<\/a>y and it funds some good causes. It\u2019s a lot of extraneous cash that you can donate to Rainforest Trust and you can still go out to dinner that night.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n MacFarlane continued, \u201cThere was a time when I thought, it\u2019s time to wrap it up. At this point, we\u2019ve reached escape velocity. I don\u2019t know that there\u2019s any reason to stop at this point unless people get sick of it. Unless the numbers show that people just are, \u2018Eh, we don\u2019t care about\u00a0Family Guy<\/em>\u00a0anymore.\u2019 But that hasn\u2019t happened yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Family Guy<\/em> premiered in 1999 on Fox, but was initially canceled after just two seasons, and then scored a third season before being nixed for good \u2014 or so viewers thought. Thanks to reruns on Cartoon Network and DVD sales, the series was revived and became a massive success. <\/p>\n

\n Season four of Family Guy<\/em> debuted in 2005 on Fox, where it has continued to air every year until its current 22nd season.<\/p>\n

\n MacFarlane voices the characters Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Stewie Griffin and Glenn Quagmire; with Seth Green as Chris Griffin and Neil Godman; Alex Borstein voicing Lois Griffin, Tricia Takanawa, Loretta Brown and Barbara Pewterschmidt; and Mila Kunis as Meg Griffin.<\/p>\n

\n In November 2022, as the animated show reached its 400-episode milestone, MacFarlane revealed his all-time favorite episode to The Hollywood Reporter<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cThe Agatha Christie episode [season nine\u2019s \u201cAnd Then There Were Fewer\u201d] is one that sticks out in my mind,\u201d he said at the time. That was certainly fun to make.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
