Da Band rapp<\/a>er Freddy P claims he left the group after Diddy allegedly made threats against his life.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old sat down for an interview with The Art of Dialogue<\/em> that was published on Friday (April 19), during which the Florida native claimed he got into it with Puff on a bad day and things escalated to the point of no return.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day, I was waking up and I was in a mood,\u201d he began. \u201cI\u2019m in the studio, I\u2019m snapping or whatever. I didn\u2019t even want to be fucked with. You know when you around a bunch of goofies and you a street n-gga, sometimes you don\u2019t want to be around the nerds. So I\u2019m in that bitch \u2013 I\u2019m just frustrated with a lot of shit going on.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyway, we get into a situation. We in front of everybody, n-gga like, \u2018Man, what you think you bout it or something?\u2019 He was like, \u2018N-gga, I\u2019ll buy every house on your block, shut every light off in that bitch and every time you come out that bitch, you\u2019ll get popped.\u2019 When he tell you some shit like that, you go to picture him purchasing every house, you going to picture every light going off and that shit silenced me.\u201d<\/p>\n

This incident ultimately caused the rapper to stop working with the group, which explains his absence from Dave Chappelle\u2018s infamous Da Band parody skit. He also revealed that it made him consider murdering Diddy, though he obviously didn\u2019t make good on that.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was trying to take his ass out,\u201d he said. \u201cMe and my dawg \u2014 God rest his soul \u2014 we had a G Wagon, and he had his little two twos, I had a little pistol on me or whatever. I had the MAC or whatever, and we were waiting for his pussy-ass to come out.\u201d<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time Freddy P has spoken out against Diddy. Just a couple years back, in 2022, he said the music mogul is one of the main reasons he \u201chates life.\u201d He also admitted that he considered suicide numerous times since leaving the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year alone I\u2019ve contemplated suicide three or four times,\u201d he said in an Instagram video. \u201cI done pictured my brother walking in and finding me dead. I cried a few times thinking about leaving my son because I just get tired of life. But no matter what you gotta do you just gotta keep at it \u2026 there\u2019s n-ggas that wanna see you fall.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cLike this n-gga Puffy is the main muthafuckin\u2019 reason why I hate fucking life, dawg. People don\u2019t even understand. Like, I don\u2019t even give a fuck. I\u2019ve never been to a point where I thought of suicide my whole life, never. I mean, I\u2019m a gangsta.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t even know how I started thinking like that. I done had it all and I fell to the bottom. How do you come back from that when you battling a giant? It ain\u2019t got nothing to do with your skill no more \u2019cause your skill is 90 percent better than any n-gga that\u2019s out there right now and the world knows it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Making The Band<\/em> ran for three seasons from 2000\u20132002. Under the New York City native\u2019 tutelage, the show produced Da Band, Danity Kane, Day26 and Donnie Klang<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Boyband O-Town was also formed on the show, but that was during its first season with executive and notorious scam artist Lou Pearlman overseeing the entire operation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
