\n Jerry Bruckheimer has nothing but praise for Bruce Willis when looking back at filming the 1998 blockbuster Armageddon<\/em>, which Bruckheimer produced.<\/p>\n

\n The legendary producer told People<\/em> magazine<\/a>, in an interview published Tuesday, that the Die Hard<\/em> star was extremely kind to everyone working on the film set, especially the crew members.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cBruce is such a good guy,\u201d he said. \u201cHe was so generous to the crew.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Bruckheimer specifically remembered Willis, who he called a \u201cgiving guy,\u201d always contributing to cash giveaways for the crew at the end of each week.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cThey\u2019d have drawings, and he\u2019d throw a lot of money in the hat, and the crew members would always take away some nice extra cash at the end of the week, whoever won,\u201d the Top Gun: Maverick<\/em> producer added.<\/p>\n

\n Armageddon<\/em>, which also starred Liv Tyler,\u00a0Ben Affleck,\u00a0Billy Bob Thornton, Steve Buscemi\u00a0and\u00a0Owen Wilson, follows a group of oil drillers that NASA recruits to fly into space to save the planet after they discover that a massive asteroid is quickly heading toward Earth. The Michael Bay-directed movie scored four Oscar nominations.<\/p>\n

\n Bruckheimer isn\u2019t the only Hollywood notable to praise Willis in recent years, following the Pulp Fiction<\/em> actor\u2019s retirement from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia. The following year, his family confirmed his health condition had worsened. He has been battling frontotemporal dementia since then.<\/p>\n

\n In May 2023, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared some sweet words regarding Willis, calling him \u201cfantastic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n \u201cHe was, always for years and years, is a huge, huge star,\u201d Schwarzenegger told\u00a0CinemaBlend<\/em><\/a>\u00a0at the time. \u201cAnd I think that he will always be remembered as a great, great star. And a kind man.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
