Set to launch later this year, the product will enable developers to build and train AI <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>lications with heterogeneous compute architectures. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An integrated software layer will abstract and orchestrate the workload to the optimal architecture.\u00a0 <span>As a result, users can apply multiple hardware configurations without complex code changes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This \u00a0to maximise efficiency and simplicity. Their hope is that more access leads to more innovations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe believe in AI\u2019s transformative power to solve some of humanity\u2019s biggest problems, but it will require a 1000x magnitude more compute to be able to realise this vision,\u201d said Tripathi, FlexAI\u2019s CEO.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u201cThe availability of AI compute today is limited to a select few. Our vision is to unlock access to compute for the many.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"AIs_big_compute_problem\"><\/span>AI\u2019s big compute problem<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FlexAI arrives<\/span> amid growing alarm about AI\u2019s voracious appetite for computing power. As the field advances, the breakthroughs are becoming increasingly unaffordable, inaccessible, and unsustainable.<\/p>\n<p>FlexAI promises solutions to all these problems. For startups, the service cuts the vast costs of compute, which can consume<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/a16z.com\/navigating-the-high-cost-of-ai-compute\/\">80%<\/a> of a company\u2019s capital. By <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">automatically assigning <span style=\"color: #000000;\">the<\/span> compute required for a given workload, FlexAI could ensure that customers only pay for what they actually use.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The approach would also reduce AI\u2019s expanding carbon footprint. By 2030, artificial intelligence is set to consume more power\u00a0of India, according to the CEO of chip giant Arm. Current AI infrastructure requires highly-specialised expertise to run. By building a software layer that simplifies the process, FlexAI hopes to enable more startups and developers to build AI apps.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This trio of solutions have already attracted $30mn (\u20ac28.5mn)\u00a0 of seed funding. The round was led by Alpha Intelligence Capital (AIC), Elaia Partners, and Heartcore Capital. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antoine Blondeau, Managing Partner at AIC, highlighted the pressing need for FlexAI\u2019s service.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cCompute is lagging, not leading, AI models\u2019 increasingly potent capabilities,\u201d he said. \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To deliver on AI\u2019s potential, the industry has to solve the issue of compute costs and that of stack complexity \u2014 both of which dramatically increase development costs and time to market.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBrijesh and Dali, uniquely, have the hardware and software skill sets to architect and build the ecosystem for the AI compute orchestration layer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Enhancing_Frances_AI_sector\"><\/span>Enhancing France\u2019s AI sector<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The investors also praised the growing power of France\u2019s AI ecosystem. Led by Parisian unicorn Mistral AI,\u00a0the country has become a European hub of artificial intelligence. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With a strong scientific base, a growing roster of startup founders, and increasing access to global capital, France\u2019s AI sector has \u201c<\/span>global ambitions,\u201d <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blondeaue said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sector\u2019s rise will also uplift Emmanuel Macron. The French president\u2019s mission to create \u201ca startup nation\u201d has thus far attracted both admiration and mockery.
