Tracker <\/em>has added a big name to its cast. Jensen Ackles (Supernatural<\/em>) has joined the CBS Sunday night drama. He will play Russell Shaw, the estranged brother of star Justin Hartley\u2019s Colter Shaw. It is unclear if Ackles will app<\/a>ear in the remaining first season episodes or if he\u2019ll be seen in the second season.<\/p>\n

This casting news<\/a> comes only weeks after Hartley announced the casting of Melissa Roxburgh (Manifest<\/em>) as Colter\u2019s younger sister, Dory.<\/p>\n

Starring Hartley, Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany, Eric Graise, Fiona Rene, and Mary McDonnell, the Tracker<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>series<\/a> follows a lone-wolf survivalist (Hartley) as he travel<\/a>s the country and uses his formidable tracking skills. He helps law enforcement and private citizens in exchange for reward money.<\/p>\n

Ackles said the following about joining the series in the comments of a video released by Hartley announcing Ackles\u2019 addition to the series:<\/p>\n

\u201cI put that caution \u26a0\ufe0f tape up for a reason. Me and Galaga can get messy. \ud83e\udd15 I had too much fun mixing it up with you, Hartley. Let\u2019s do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
