From there, they began exploring guitar music on projects like <i>\u6d77\u306e\u6b4c<\/i>, <i>it gets worse n worse<\/i>, and <i>daisies<\/i>, where they remolded Beach House-style dream-pop and brought slowcore\u2019s pace to the shoegaze revival. R<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ing was never abandoned \u2014 <i>unrequited<\/i> and <i>cicada<\/i>, two full-lengths that ratcheted up the intensity, were released in 2022. The seven-track project has the cracked MacBook screen charm of early emo-rap like GothBoiClique with a ravier tint that\u2019s far less deferential to its inspirations. Lor flexes a classic trap-friendly flow on the project\u2019s eponymous opening track, but their voice is hidden behind layers of digital fog in a beat from producers i_hear_static and cloak. Despite the song\u2019s lo-fi sleekness, it has the addictive vibe and the stakes of a hotboxed freestyle in a Wal-Mart parking lot. \u201cCome on come on, tell me what the hate\u2019s for,\u201d they rap as synths glitter and bounce around her words, \u201cCallin\u2019 me a manic pixie dream Lor \/ Talkin\u2019 lots of shit \u2018cause you\u2019re hella bored \/ Always rep myself \u2018cause I know Imma soar.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            And while the Kreayshawn vibes are always welcome, it\u2019s when Lor leans on their talent for melodies that things really stick. On songs like the chilled-out \u201cgrowth spurt\u201d and the gothic ambient-infused \u201cdark,\u201d Lor brings an avant-pop sensibility to their flows and turns their syllables into colors rather than portions of words. It\u2019s a jarring move considering how hard the rest of <i>LOR4LIFE<\/i>\u2019s sincerity hits, and easily the project\u2019s weakest moment. Still, the switch is part and parcel of the Lor experience: on May 7, they&#8217;ll share \u201cfinally,\u201d the first and only single from their upcoming album <i>Sunny Paws<\/i>.
