Cam\u2019ron has weighed in on Dame Dash always talking about JAY-Z, defending Hov\u2019s Roc-A-Fella co-founder in the process.<\/p>\n

During an episode of It Is What It Is<\/em> that aired on Monday (April 29), Killa spoke in defense of the record executive over a discussion with co-hosts with Ma$e.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou get all these soundbites about \u2018Dame gotta stop talking about JAY-Z,\u2019 \u2018He\u2019s always talking about JAY-Z,\u2019 \u2018Why he talking about JAY-Z?\u2019 the Dipset MC began. \u201cYou asked him about JAY-Z! He ain\u2019t just getting up there and talking about JAY-Z this or JAY-Z that.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou ask him these questions so that when he answers, you can get the soundbite and then it seems like he\u2019s just talking about n-ggas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cam\u2019ron then went on to point out that such clips are often presented without the original question or context.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time both rapp<\/a>ers came to Dame\u2019s defense.<\/p>\n

The duo spoke up for the mogul after he was blamed for Roc-A-Fella Records\u2019 downfall by fellow music executive Steve Stoute. Back in March, the Harlem spitters gave the 52-year-old his flowers during their talk show.<\/p>\n

\u201cDame gave a lot of people jobs, regardless of what people say,\u201d the former Bad Boy hitmaker said. \u201cAnd him giving you a platform, he gave a lot of people in Harlem jobs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, absolutely. It\u2019s a bunch of people outside of me that are still in prominent positions now [thanks to Dame],\u201d Cam added. \u201cShari [Bryant<\/a>] [\u2026] she came down as an intern at Roc-A-Fella and she never looked back.<\/p>\n

\u201cY\u2019know, she was an intern, then a secretary, then assistant, then went into corporate, then I think she was the assistant president at Atlantic Records and now she\u2019s the president of Roc Nation.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded: \u201cDame gets perceived the wrong way because of his attitude. He\u2019s very arrogant but he\u2019s very smart. But the thing about it is, Dame is going to do what works for Dame and at this point you got to accept him. Either love him or hate him for who he is \u2019cause he\u2019s not changing.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been successful at helping build $100 million companies \u2014 not just one, but multiple. And some people are never going to see $100 million in they life, so I think he\u2019s capable of doing anything in the world. But sometimes to me, the way he presents himself to other people is a turn off. He\u2019s can acquired taste.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
