The ongoing Sound! Euphonium<\/em> Season 3 anime<\/a> series<\/a> has received a story visual the day before the release of its sixth episode. The new promotional illustration highlights the start of the band auditions in the story (and all the drama that entails).<\/span><\/p>\n

Sound! Euphonium<\/em> Season 3 premiered on April 7 and is being streamed on Crunchyroll. The anime follows\u00a0Kumiko as she navigates her third year of high school, with her responsibilities as leader of the Kitauji High School band and the arrival of transfer student Mayu Kuroe posing challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sound! Euphonium\u00a0<\/em>is inspired by the Takarajimasha-published novel series by\u00a0Ayano Takeda<\/strong>. The first season of the anime started airing in 2015, and the previous entry, the Sound! Euphonium: Ensemble Contest<\/em> OVA, premiered in Japanese theaters in August 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There are also a few films: compilation movies of the first two seasons, the Liz and the Blue Bird <\/em>spin-off, and 2019\u2019s Sound! Euphonium: Chikai no Finale<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Sound! Euphonium<\/em> novels began in 2013 and has seven main volumes as of 2019. A spin-off with Natsuki Nakagawa as the viewpoint character, Tobitatsu Kimi no Se wo Miageru<\/em>, was released in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n
