\n Fox will hit The Floor<\/em> again \u2014\u00a0twice \u2014 in the 2024-25 season.<\/p>\n

\n The network has renewed its Rob Lowe-hosted game<\/a> show for two more cycles, both of which are slated to air next season. Addtionally, Fox and Lowe \u2014\u00a0who\u2019s also a producer of The Floor<\/em> \u2014 have signed a first-look deal to develop unscript<\/a>ed projects.<\/p>\n

\n The renewal comes just ahead of Fox\u2019s upfront presentation to advertisers on Monday, but it\u2019s not a big surprise: The Floor<\/em> was quietly one of the best-performing shows on the network this season. It averaged 3.47 million viewers over seven days of linear viewing, according to Nielsen ratings, and grew to 5.5 million viewers with streaming and other digital platforms included.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cFans loved the first season of\u00a0The Floor<\/em>\u00a0so much that we\u2019ve ordered two more seasons of this breakthrough game show, with plans already underway to make our epic battle of the brains even bigger and bolder,\u201d said Fox network president Michael Thorn. \u201cIt\u2019s also been a massive win to have a huge star like Rob Lowe as our host, and both our viewers and competitors can\u2019t wait to see him back in action.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Fox viewers will see a lot of Lowe on its air in 2024-25, as his scripted drama 911: Lone Star<\/em> is also slated to return in the fall after taking the 2023-24 season off. <\/p>\n

\n As for the first-look deal, Lowe and Fox will jointly develop unscripted projects for the network. Any series<\/a> that result from the deal will be produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment, the network\u2019s in-house unscripted studio.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t be happier with\u00a0The Floor\u00a0<\/em>phenomenon and the opportunity to create more unscripted projects with my partners at Fox,\u201d said Lowe.<\/p>\n

\n Talpa owns\u00a0The Floor<\/em>\u00a0format and produces the Fox show with Eureka Productions and BiggerStage. John de Mol, Mark van Achterberg, Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, Sean O\u2019Riordan, Shane Byrneserve and showrunner Anthony Carbone are the executive producers, and Lowe produces.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
