Seth Meyers is not leaving late night anytime soon. NBC has given the host of Late Night with Seth Meyers <\/em>a multi-year extension, which means the series<\/a> will remain on the air through 2028. The network last renewed the program for multiple years in February 2021.<\/p>\n

Meyers, who formerly starred in and served as head writer for Saturday Night Live<\/em>, recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of his late-night series.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

NBC revealed more about the renewal in a press release.<\/p>\n

Seth Meyers has renewed his deal with NBCUniversal to host \u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers\u201d through 2028.<\/p>\n

Meyers\u2019 Sethmaker Shoemeyers production company has also extended its deal with Universal Studio Group to produce content across NBCUniversal platforms.<\/p>\n

Meyers recently\u00a0celebrated his 10-year anniversary as host of \u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers.\u201d The Emmy Award-nominated \u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers\u201d launched on Feb. 24, 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the last 10 years, Seth has resonated with his audience night after night with a sharp monologue and established segments such as \u2018A Closer Look\u2019 and \u2018Day Drinking,\u2019\u201d said Katie Hockmeyer, Executive Vice President, Late Night Programming, NBCUniversal Entertainment. \u201cWe\u2019re so happ<\/a>y to continue this legacy franchise with Seth at the helm and watch him continue to elevate the success of \u2018Late Night.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers\u201d has\u00a0<\/em>received two Critics Choice Awards, seven Writers Guild of America Award nominations and 11 Emmy\u00a0nominations for the show and its digital series, \u201cCorrections.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers\u201d airs weeknights\u00a0at 12:35 a.m. ET\/PT on NBC and streams next day on Peacock.<\/p>\n

From Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Broadway Video, \u201cLate Night with Seth Meyers\u201d is executive produced by Lorne Michaels and produced by Mike Shoemaker.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
