It demonstrates Reddit\u2019s commitment to improve the platform and add much needed functionality \u2013 especially when it comes to AI ad creation. <\/p>\n<p>Reddit has been eyeing entering the search market after achieving 1 billion monthly searches, due at least in part to it\u2019s content licensing agreement with Google. They\u2019ve even introduced Dynamic Product Ads that connect users with products they are looking for or may be interested in. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What Reddit advertisers are saying.<\/strong> Reddit advertisers said the platform needs improvement. <\/p>\n<p>Kyle Golembiewski, Founder at 4Chord Marketing, told Search Engine Land: <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want to compare performance\/ease of use to that of Meta or Google, it\u2019s heavily lacking in AI creative optimization, which <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be the future. I\u2019ve found the only way around bots\/click farms on Reddit is by breaking an ad group out for each subreddit I\u2019m targeting. That\u2019s unfortunate but not unlike the \u201chacks\u201d we used to use on other platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cReddit, in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>, is lower CPC with lower conversion rates. The audiences are quite engaged with organic conversations but less receptive to sponsored ads.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gil Gildner, Co-Founder at Discosloth said, \u201cI am a big fan of Reddit Ads in terms of targeting subreddits (very similar to intent-focused searches like Google Ads offers) but the platform itself is very crude and doesn\u2019t offer a lot of fine-tuning or insight. Reddit still has a lot of work to do in terms of branding. Many of our advertisers want to be super cautious with their placements, and Reddit etiquette is notoriously low.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The intrigue.<\/strong> Vaidee replaces Shariq Rizvi, who built Reddit\u2019s ads platform from scratch over the past five years as EVP of Ads Monetization. Rizvi is leaving the company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What they\u2019re saying.<\/strong> \u201cJyoti\u2019s two decades of product management and engineering experience make her uniquely poised to lead Reddit\u2019s Ads products as our business continues to scale globally,\u201d said COO Jen Wong when <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.redditinc.com\/blog\/sharing-an-update-on-our-ads-monetization-team-and-welcoming-our-new-vp-of-ads-product\">announcing Vaidee\u2019s hiring<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- START INLINE FORM --><\/p>\n<p><!-- END INLINE FORM --><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-color has-css-opacity has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background\">Vaidee will be responsible for driving the product strategy, execution, and management of the Ads Product organization at Reddit.
