Shojo manga<\/a> Hana-Kimi<\/em> (Hanazakari no Kimitachi e<\/em>), which ran from 1996 to 2004 in Hakusensha\u2019s Hana to Yume magazine, has an anime adaptation in the works.<\/span><\/p>\n

No staff, cast, or studio details have been revealed yet, though there is an official illustration accompanying the announcement that gives an indication of the anime\u2019s visual style. Additionally, Crunchyroll says that it will stream the show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hanazakari no Kimitachi e\u00a0<\/em>was created by the late Hisaya Nakajo<\/strong>, who passed away in October 2023 due to a heart disease. The premise of the manga involves Mizuki, a girl who has returned to Japan from America, attending an all-boys school under disguise as a boy in order to meet her idol, Izumi Sano.<\/span><\/p>\n

The manga is collected into 23 tankoubon volumes and 12 aizouban volumes. It inspired a 2006 Taiwanese drama, two Japanese dramas in 2007 and 2011, and a 2012 Korean drama.<\/span><\/p>\n

Japanese-American track-and-field star Mizuki has gotten herself to transfer to a high school in Japan\u2026but not just any school!
