Could this lead to more advertising?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"bialty-container\">\nTikTok is testing a new 60-minute video upload limit, which could unlock new content possibilities for brands, marketers and content creators.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why we care. <\/strong>TikTok is already a powerful discovery engine, but the ability to upload 60-minute videos opens up TikTok\u2019s potential as a platform to host long-form branded video content \u2013 rather than breaking up videos into multiple parts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why TikTok is testing this. <\/strong>TikTok wants to give creators more flexibility and the ability to experiment with new types of long-form content (e.g., cooking demos, beauty tutorials, educational lessons, comedic sketches) that don\u2019t fit well into shorter videos.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/1038259\/SEL_Post-text --><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1693000027709-0\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"post-break\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Not widely available. <\/strong>This new 60-minute video upload option is being tested with a limited number of users in select markets. It is not available to all users yet and TikTok has no \u201cim<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>te plans\u201d for a wider rollout, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2024\/05\/16\/tiktok-upload-60-minute-videos\/\">TechCrunch<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Longer videos, more ads? <\/strong>This development could also lead the way to TikTok offering more advertising, in the form of pre- and mid-roll ads. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Keeps getting longer.<\/strong> In January, TikTok started testing 30-minute video uploads. That followed increases to 15 minutes in 2023 and 10 minutes in 2022.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At launch, TikTok videos were limited to 15 seconds.
