\n Shannen Doherty said if she\u2019d had the chance to return for the Charmed<\/em> finale, she still would have chosen not to. The actress said this week going back to set \u201cwould\u2019ve crushed me.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI regret it one sense, I regret it for the fans,\u201d she said on her Let\u2019s Be Clear With Shannen Doherty<\/a><\/em> podcast. \u201cBut I don\u2019t regret it for me, because I was so incredibly wrecked from getting fired that, I think, even years \u2014 years \u2014 years later, had I walked on that set, it just would\u2019ve stirred everything back up for me. And it would\u2019ve crushed me all over again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Doherty was fired from Charmed<\/em> after season 3, and has since alleged that co-star Alyssa Milano was the reason for her firing, claiming the actress gave producers an ultimatum to choose between the two of them. <\/p>\n

\n Earlier this year, a feud between the actresses made headlines for several weeks, when Milano called Doherty\u2019s claim \u201crevisionist history\u201d and then spoke about the saga at MegaCon. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cThere is no revisionist history happ<\/a>ening in the truth that I know we told,\u201d Doherty said. \u201cThere is no brush flinging or shoe flinging. There is no lateness to set, there is no media<\/a>tor for months on end. I recall the facts as if I was still living in them.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n Doherty, currently fighting stage four cancer, also said,\u00a0\u201cAt this point in my life with my health diagnosis \u2014 I\u2019m sorry if I start crying \u2014 with fighting horrific disease every day of my life, it is also incredibly important to me that the truth actually be told as opposed to the narrative that others put out there for me.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n Charmed<\/em>, which first aired on the WB and later The CW, saw Milano, Doherty and Holly Marie Combs as the Halliwell sisters, a trio who learned they were descendants of a line of good female witches needed to fight evil with combined witchcraft they referred to as \u201cthe power of three.\u201d After Doherty\u2019s exit, Rose McGowan joined the main cast. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
