\n A Boston TV reporter was stabbed with a pair of scissors while working on a story over the weekend, according to news<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

Ted Wayma of\u00a0 WCVB-TV was working near Copely Square on Sunday night when he was attacked.<\/p>\n

He was rushed to a local hospital \u2014 but is \u201cgoing to be fine,\u201d a spokesman for the station told the Boston Globe.<\/p>\n

Boston police said Monday that a 44-year-old man was arrested in the incident, which took place around 9 p.m. near Dartmouth and Boylston streets, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

Police did not release the name of the suspect, but masslive.com identified him Tuesday as Cirilo Aldama-Peraedes, who allegedly used a pair of scissors to stab Wayman in the forearms.<\/p>\n

Aldana-Peraedes was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, the outlet said.<\/p>\n

It was unclear what sparked the attack.<\/p>\n
