The production of a third season of the Spy x Family<\/em> TV anime<\/a> has been announced.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Accompanying the news<\/a> was a \u201csuper teaser\u201d visual of Anya and Bond, asleep in the center of a star shape formed by various light sources. Character designer Kazuaki Shimada<\/strong> drew the illustration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spy x Family\u00a0<\/em>is based on the Shueisha-published action comedy manga by Tatsuya Endo<\/strong>. Viz Media<\/a> describes the manga as:<\/span><\/p>\n

Not one to depend on others, Twilight has his work cut out for him procuring both a wife and a child for his mission to infiltrate an elite private school. What he doesn\u2019t know is that the wife he\u2019s chosen is an assassin and the child he\u2019s adopted is a telepath!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The first two seasons of Spy x Family<\/em> premiered in April 2022 and October 2023, respectively. The first season had two split cours. An anime movie, titled Spy x Family Code: White<\/em>, premiered in Japan on December 22, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

Season 2 was directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi<\/b>\u00a0(Spy x Family<\/em>\u00a0Season 1,\u00a0Dororo<\/i>) and Takahiro Harada <\/strong>(Season 1 co-assistant director) with Ichiro Okouchi <\/b>(Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury<\/em>) as series<\/a> composer. The Code: White movie was directed by Takashi Katagiri\u00a0<\/b>(Spy x Family\u00a0<\/i>Season 1\u2019s co-assistant director) with animation supervision from Furuhashi, a script<\/a> by Okouchi, and supervision from Endo. The anime is a co-production between WIT STUDIO<\/strong> and CloverWorks<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Spy x Family\u00a0<\/em>manga began serialization in Shueisha\u2019s Shonen Jump+ in 2019 and has 13 tankoubon volumes as of March 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
