This transition won\u2019t be quick or easy. There\u2019s a lot we still don\u2019t know about how AI Overviews will impact our search strategies and performance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Google is saying.<\/strong> Here\u2019s some of what Reid said at the meeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cIt is important that we don\u2019t hold back features just because there might be occasional problems, but more as we find the problems, we address them.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI don\u2019t think we should take away from this that we shouldn\u2019t take risks. We should take them thoughtfully. We should act with urgency. When we find new problems, we should do the extensive testing but we won\u2019t always find everything and that just means that we respond.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cPeople actually created templates on how to get <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social<\/a> engagement by making fake AI Overviews so that\u2019s an additional thing we\u2019re thinking about.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cNo matter how much red teaming we do, we will need to do more.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWe don\u2019t just have to understand the quality of the site or the page, we have to understand each passage of a page.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cAnytime you see problems, they can be small, they can be big. Please file them.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>AI issues.<\/strong> The AI-generated answers that <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared in Google\u2019s newly launched AI Overviews were criticized for giving dangerous and wrong answers \u2013 including running with scissors, cooking with glue, eating rocks and drinking urine.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Google said some of the AI Overview screenshots were faked while others were due to data voids (a.k.a., information gaps).
