After all Billy Ray Cyrus<\/strong>\u2019 revelations about Firerose<\/strong>, he\u2019s a happ<\/a>y single man.<\/p>\n

The country star reportedly feels \u201crelieved\u201d after filing for divorce from his estranged wife last month, for which he cited \u201cirreconcilable differences\u201d and \u201cinappropriate marital conduct.\u201d He alleged that she cheated on him, and in court filings he cited nearly $100k in credit card charges she racked up AFTER he filed. He asked for an annulment, claiming their marriage was obtained fraudulently \u2014 revealing in an amendment to his filings on Monday that she lied about never having been married before.<\/p>\n

The 36-year-old hit back with filings of her own claiming Billy Ray abused substances and subjected her to \u201cextreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse.\u201d He responded to that by dropping an alleged love note she sent him begging to be taken back, which you can read about HERE.<\/p>\n

Between all that and the Achy Breaky Heart<\/em> singer recently discovering his ex BLOCKED \u201cat least one\u201d of his daughters from contacting him, it\u2019s been a rocky road. And he\u2019s thrilled to be off of it!! On Thursday, an insider told People<\/em> the 62-year-old is \u201cmore relieved every day that he\u2019s done with his marriage,\u201d which lasted seven months. That source explained how the refreshing feelings have come about for Billy Ray:<\/p>\n

\u201cHis instincts have been correct all along. He believes she only married him for financial and other reasons. He\u2019s convinced that she didn\u2019t marry him for love.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Last week, a source told the same outlet \u201cthey\u2019ve had drama and trust issues about money,\u201d and that \u201che believes she married him so he can take care of her financially.\u201d Of course, it was also revealed that he filed for divorce just one day before Firerose was scheduled to undergo a double mastectomy which he apparently told her he\u2019d cover\u2026 but she\u2019s since had to cancel it indefinitely.<\/p>\n

The insider added on Thursday:<\/p>\n
