When we learned\u00a0Shifty Shellshock<\/strong>, frontman of the iconic 2000s rap-rock band\u00a0Crazy Town<\/strong>, had passed away at just 49 years old, we thought it might be something like this. According to\u00a0TMZ<\/em>\u2018s law enforcement sources, the\u00a0Butterfly<\/em> singer\u2019s death is being investigated as a possible drug overdose.<\/p>\n

Sources told the outlet fire and PD responded to a call after someone came to visit Shift, born\u00a0Seth Binzer<\/strong>, and discovered his body lying on the floor. The same sources claim drug paraphernalia and a lighter were next to the body.<\/p>\n

Horrifyingly, it\u2019s believed Shifty had been dead more than 24 hours already at the time he was discovered. Just awful.<\/p>\n

Like we said, we couldn\u2019t call this report unexpected. Shifty was pretty open about his past drug abuse, having even been on\u00a0Celebrity Rehab<\/em> and Sober House<\/em> with Dr. Drew<\/strong>. In 2012 he was even hospitalized. He was lucky enough to wake up from a coma that time and got a second chance\u2026 But this time, it seems he wasn\u2019t so lucky.<\/p>\n
