The spam update started June 20, 2024, about 7 days ago.<\/p>\n<p>This update was a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a> and broad spam update, it was not a link spam update and did not automate the site reputation abuse policy, which is still only done via manual actions.<\/p>\n<p>Google\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/status.search.google.com\/incidents\/QdUeCQx3LRVbzQ3E7FiD\">wrote<\/a>\u00a0this morning, \u201cThe rollout was complete as of June 27, 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s our past coverage of confirmed Google spam updates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>March 2024 spam update<\/li>\n<li>October 2023 spam update<\/li>\n<li>December 2022 link spam update<\/li>\n<li>October 2022 spam update\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>November 2021 spam update<\/li>\n<li>July 2021 link spam update.<\/li>\n<li>A two-part Spam Update \u2013\u00a0June 23\u00a0and\u00a0June 28<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why we care.\u00a0<\/strong>If you noticed your rankings changed during this time frame, it may be related to the June 2024 spam update.  Maybe your rankings improved because your competitors were hurt by this update. Maybe your rankings declined because Google thinks you were going against its spam policies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spam updates<\/strong>. Here are the official Google\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/search\/updates\/spam-updates\">spam updates documentation<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\nWhile Google\u2019s automated systems to\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search\/howsearchworks\/how-search-works\/detecting-spam\/\">detect search spam<\/a>\u00a0are constantly operating, we occasionally make notable improvements to how they work. When we do, we refer to this as a\u00a0<em>spam update<\/em>\u00a0and share when they h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en on our\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/status.search.google.com\/products\/rGHU1u87FJnkP6W2GwMi\/history\">list of Google Search ranking updates<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For example,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/search\/blog\/2022\/04\/webspam-report-2021\">SpamBrain<\/a>\u00a0is our AI-based spam-prevention system. From time-to-time, we improve that system to make it better at spotting spam and to help ensure it catches new types of spam.<\/p>\n<p>Sites that see a change after a spam update should review our\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/search\/docs\/essentials\/spam-policies\">spam policies<\/a>\u00a0to ensure they are complying with those. Sites that violate our policies may rank lower in results or not appear in results at all. Making changes may help a site improve if our automated systems learn over a period of months that the site complies with our spam policies.<\/p>\n<p>In the case of a link spam update (an update that specifically deals with link spam), making changes might not generate an improvement. This is because when our systems remove the effects spammy links may have, any ranking benefit the links may have previously generated for your site is lost.
