The Netflix <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> has frequent Murphy player <strong>Sarah Paulson<\/strong> playing the nurse, and while it certainly looks all kinds of stylish, I can\u2019t help but ask: Why?<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ratched_Trailer\"><\/span><strong>Ratched Trailer<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/l2tbRZn7tpY?feature=oembed\" width=\"740\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Ratched<\/em> looks like it could be a lot of fun. But I remain utterly baffled by the whole endeavor. Is\u00a0<em>One Flew Over the Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em> still a hot piece of intellectual property? Did Murphy and company really\u00a0<em>need<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>that hook to get this show off the ground? Couldn\u2019t they have just made a series about a crazy nurse that has nothing to do with\u00a0<em>Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em>? The whole thing just seems very\u2026strange.<\/p>\n<p>But as long as Ryan Murphy is making shows, people are going to watch them.\u00a0<em>Ratched<\/em> \u201ctells the origin story of asylum nurse Mildred Ratched. In 1947, Mildred arrives in Northern California to seek employment at a leading psychiatric hospital where new and unsettling experiments have begun on the human mind. On a clandestine mission, Mildred presents herself as the perfect image of what a dedicated nurse should be, but the wheels are always turning and as she begins to infiltrate the mental health care system and those within it, Mildred\u2019s stylish exterior belies a growing darkness that has long been smoldering within, revealing that true monsters are made, not born.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cast includes\u00a0Sarah Paulson as Mildred Ratched, <strong>Cynthia Nixon<\/strong> as Gwendolyn Briggs, <strong>Judy Davis <\/strong>as Nurse Betsy Bucket, <strong>Sharon Stone<\/strong> as Lenore Osgood, <strong>Jon Jon Briones<\/strong> as Dr. Richard Hanover, <strong>Finn Wittrock<\/strong> as Edmund Tolleson, <strong>Charlie Carver<\/strong> as Huck, <strong>Alice Englert<\/strong> as Dolly, <strong>Amanda Plummer<\/strong> as Louise,<strong> Sophie Okonedo<\/strong> as Charlotte Wells, <strong>Corey Stoll<\/strong> as Charles Wainwright, <strong>Brandon Flynn<\/strong> as Henry Osgood, <strong>Annie Starke<\/strong> as Lily Cartwright and <strong>Vincent D\u2019Onofrio<\/strong> as Gov. George Wilburn.<\/p>\n<p>Will a digitally de-aged Jack Nicholson show up in the final episode? No, that will not happen. But we can all dream.
