A new animation project for <\/span>CLAMP<\/b>\u2019s <\/span>Magic Knight Rayearth<\/span><\/i> is in the works to celebrate the franchise\u2019s 30th anniversary. More information about the anime<\/a>\u2019s format and other production details will be announced at a later date.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A key visual featuring the series<\/a>\u2019 three leads was released, as well as a special announcement video that includes some original manga illustrations and scenes from the 1994 TV anime series.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The first TV anime series aired in Japan from October 17, 1994 to November 27, 1995 for a total of 49 episodes. <\/span>TMS Entertainment<\/b> (then known as <\/span>Tokyo Movie Shinsha<\/b>) was in charge of the animation production. Discotek Media<\/a> released the series in English as recently as 2017. The series also inspired several video game<\/a>s.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
