A special new visual has been unveiled for the <\/span>Noragami<\/span><\/i> TV anime<\/a> series<\/a>, in honor of its 10th anniversary since the first season aired in 2014. The visual features the anime\u2019s three main characters: Hiyori Iki, Yato, and Yukine.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the new visual, there are plans for a new Blu-ray box set and free distribution of the series on YouTube<\/a> in Japan. The anime\u2019s official Twitter account is also teasing four more anniversary reveals later in the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The original manga series by <\/span>Adachitoka<\/b> was first serialized in Kodansha\u2019s Monthly Shonen Magazine on December 6, 2010 and concluded on January 6, 2024. A total of <\/span>27 tankobon volumes<\/span> were released during its publication. The series also inspired the <\/span>Noragami: Stray S<\/span><\/i>tories side story manga, which were released across three tankobon volumes. Kodansha USA publishes both series in English for release in North America.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The manga inspired two anime seasons from <\/span>Bones<\/b>, which were directed by <\/span>Josee, the Tiger and the Fish<\/span><\/i>\u2018s <\/span>Kotaro Tamura<\/b> with character designs from <\/span>Toshihiro Kawamoto<\/b> (<\/span>Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Metallic Rouge<\/span><\/i>) that aired in 2014 and 2015.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yato is a homeless god. He doesn\u2019t even have a shrine, not to mention worshippers! So to achieve his ambitious goals, he\u2019s set up a service to help those in need (for a small fee), hoping he\u2019ll eventually raise enough money to build himself the lavish temple of his dreams. Of course, he can\u2019t afford to be picky, so Yato accepts all kinds of jobs, from finding lost kittens to helping a student overcome bullies at school.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n
