It claims they are four times more efficient at offsetting emissions compared to conventional solar PV panels.<\/p>\n<p>The VirtuHOT collector uses solar thermal <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> to heat water from the power of the sun to up to 120\u00b0C. The company already has manufacturing facilities in the UK and Europe \u2014 where it\u2019s mostly active \u2014 and is set to start production in Texas.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Eyes_on_global_expansion\"><\/span>Eyes on global expansion<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With the fresh capital, the scaleup plans to boost its global expansion and the adoption of its product range.<\/p>\n<p>The round was led by E.ON Energy Infrastructure Solutions (E.ON EIS), which is part of the E.ON Group \u2014 one of Europe\u2019s largest operators of energy networks and infrastructure. Previous investor Barclays also participated.<\/p>\n<p>The investment will further leverage the existing partnership between the E.ON Group and Naked Energy. The two will develop a Heat-as-a-Service model for a global client base. E.ON EIS will also have access to the Virtu products for its commercial and industrial customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHeat decarbonisation presents a huge economic opportunity,\u201d said Christophe Williams, CEO of Naked Energy. \u201cWith investment from such major industry players, we\u2019re confident we can capitalise on this global shift.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the global share of renewable heat expected to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/iea.blob.core.windows.net\/assets\/96d66a8b-d502-476b-ba94-54ffda84cf72\/Renewables_2023.pdf\">increase by 40%<\/a> by 2028 (rising to 17% of total consumption), companies like Naked Energy might prove to be very well positioned in the market.\n                        <\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
