It was bizarre and sus how he shared details even the cops weren\u2019t yet ready to divulge. The whole thing was sketchy \u2014 but it turns out to have been true, near as authorities can tell.\u00a0<strong>Mica Miller<\/strong> did seem to die by self-inflicted gunshot wound, with no one else around.<\/p>\n<p>However, J.P.\u2019s odd sermon had inadvertently brought national attention to the accusations against him. It turns out Mica \u2014 who had recently left J.P. \u2014 had been vocal on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> about escaping an abusive relationship. She was even advising other women who needed to get out of toxic relationships with so-called Christian men who didn\u2019t treat them well. She also filed reports with police about his behavior\u00a0<em>after<\/em> she left.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>Since her death, Mica\u2019s family and friends have spoken out about J.P.\u2019s allegedly abusive behavior. We learned the pastor had a criminal record which included multiple counts of aggravated assault and battery.\u00a0We also soon learned he met Mica when he was already married with kids, and she was just a child going to his church. ICK. The whole thing is awful.<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-669b67012d730-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Related: Mica Told Sister If She Ended Up Shot In The Head, It Was Her Ex<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well, J.P. decided to break his silence on the matter in an interview with\u00a0<em>NewsNation<\/em> on Friday. J.P. told interviewer\u00a0<strong>Rich McHugh<\/strong> he went to the morgue to see his ex\u2019s body \u2014 and tried to use his godly powers to RESURRECT HER! Yes, he\u2019s serious. He defended the disturbed action by saying:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-669b67012d738-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cYeah, I tried raising her from the dead because you know what? If it had worked, we\u2019d have a whole different story. God forbid me not try it and I always wondered the rest of my life \u2018would it have worked?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You wouldn\u2019t have to wonder! It was never going to work! The only way it would is if you actually were imbued with some kind of divine super powers. Is that what this guy is telling us he believes? He continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cJesus did it. Elisha did it. I had to try. There\u2019s a few other people in the Bible. So yes, if somebody I love more than anything in the world has passed away, what I believe to be an early death, you better believe I\u2019m going to try to\u2026 In Jesus\u2019 name, raise her from the dead.\u201d<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-669b67012d73c-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This man is comparing himself to Jesus. He really thought there was a chance he could raise the dead.<\/p>\n<p>Far be it from us to try to diagnose anyone, but the word \u201cnarcissism\u201d certainly comes to mind here. Also, the word \u201cnuts.\u201d But that\u2019s not all. Note that wording he used to describe his wife \u2014 \u201csomebody I love more than anything in the world.\u201d OK, now let\u2019s talk about his response to questions about her mysterious death\u2026<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"he-does-not-want-us-to-forget-his-alibi\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"He_Does_Not_Want_Us_To_Forget_His_Alibi\"><\/span>He Does Not Want Us To Forget His Alibi<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>The pastor is quick in the interview to voice his alibi, saying:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-669b67012d741-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI was in Charleston with about 100 people from my kids\u2019 school. We were all together at the soccer fields that day. Afterwards, after the soccer <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>, somebody was with me the entire time\u2026 somebody that I love more than anything else on planet Earth\u2026 was with me. And we went shopping in Charleston. And we got food in Charleston. And there\u2019s all the receipts from that throughout the time.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, remember how he talked about his recently deceased ex? And then he talks about his new girlfriend almost word-for-word the exact same way. The other times, she was very euphoric. And she would wake up and say, \u2018I think I\u2019m supposed to die today.&#8217;\u201d\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"the-letter\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Letter\"><\/span>The Letter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<p>J.P. also confirmed he wrote Mica a letter apologizing for grooming and abusing her, as well as for posting a topless photo of her on the internet. But he now denies doing those things, saying he just wrote that letter to get her to take her medication:<\/p>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\">\n<div id=\"section-669b67012d74a-paragraph-slot\" class=\"lazyload-unit\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI did it because the night that she was with me, the last night we were together for four hours, at one point, because the whole four hours I\u2019m trying to get her to take her medicine. And she\u2019s saying, \u2018I\u2019ll take my medicine and I\u2019ll come home if you\u2019ll give me $10,000 and if you\u2019ll write me an apology letter.\u2019 That\u2019s why I did it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Why in the hell should we believe anything he says now?
