Three new voice actors are joining the cast of the upcoming <\/span>Demon Lord 2099<\/span><\/i> TV anime<\/a> series<\/a>, which will <\/span>begin broadcasting in Japan in Fall 2024<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The new voice cast members include <\/span>Daisuke Namikawa<\/b> as Gram, <\/span>Masaya Matsukaze<\/b> as Marcus, and <\/span>Shizuka Ito<\/b> as Kinohara.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They join a main cast that stars <\/span>Satoshi Hino<\/b> as Veltol Velvet Velsvalt, <\/span>Miku Ito<\/b> as Machina Soleige, and <\/span>Hana Hishikawa<\/b> as Takahashi.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ryo Ando<\/b> (<\/span>Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury<\/span><\/i> assistant director) is directing the anime adaptation, with <\/span>Yuuichiro Momose<\/b> (<\/span>The Witch and the Beast<\/span><\/i>) as series screenwriter and script<\/a>writer, <\/span>Ryosuke Tanigawa<\/b> (<\/span>My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Climax<\/span><\/i> co-main animator) as character designer, and <\/span>Tatsuya Kato<\/b> (<\/span>Yohane the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirror<\/span><\/i>) as music composer. <\/span>J.C.STAFF <\/b>is in charge of the animation production.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Demon Lord 2099<\/span><\/i> is based on the light novel series written by <\/span>Daigo Murasaki <\/b>and illustrated by <\/span>Kureta<\/b>, which was first published by Fujimi Shobo\u2019s Fantasia Bunko imprint on January 20, 2021. Three total volumes have been released as of June 2023. The series also won in the 33rd Fantasia Award\u2019s Alternate Dimension category.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The light novels also inspired two manga adaptations, with the first one by<\/span> Kiiro Akashiro <\/b>running from November 5, 2021 to June 24, 2022. A second manga adaptation by <\/span>Kan Sakurai <\/b>began serialization on Shonen Ace Plus on March 22, 2023.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yen Press releases the <\/span>Demon Lord 2099<\/span><\/i> light novels in English, describing the synopsis as:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The cyberpunk metropolis Shinjuku \u2014 a massive city-state bedecked with neon signs, towering skyscrapers, and the latest cutting-edge technology<\/a>. It is here, in year 2099 of the Fused Era, where the legendary Demon Lord Veltol has his second coming five centuries in the making. But this landscape is nothing like the one he conquered all those years ago, for the fusion of magic and engineering has elevated civilization to dazzling, unprecedented heights. Veltol may have been reduced to a historical footnote, but make no mistake\u2026this brave new world will be his for the taking!<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n
