\n Jon Stewart addressed Kamala Harris\u2018 newly launched presidential campaign on Monday night, following The Daily Show<\/em>\u2018s hiatus last week when President Biden announced he would not seek re-election.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cWhat\u2019s done is done,\u201d Stewart said. \u201cYou\u2019re going to have to shift gears and recalibrate. You\u2019ve had \u2018Crooked Joe\u2019 and \u2018Sleepy Joe\u2019 on speed dial. You\u2019re going to need a new line of attack.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n Stewart then cycled through clips from Republican pundits complaining that Harris \u201cdoesn\u2019t like Jewish people,\u201d to which the comedia<\/a>n, Jewish himself, said: \u201cJoin the club, we\u2019re getting crushed out there
right now. I\u2019m not even sure how much we like ourselves.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n He went on to point out the claim had very little validity given that Harris\u2019 husband, Doug Emhoff, is Jewish. <\/p>\n

\n Later, the host played contradictory clips of various Republican politicians and pundits complaining that Harris has been both too soft on crime and too tough on crime. <\/p>\n

\n \u201cPeople, we open in three months!\u201d Stewart said. \u201cYou\u2019re flailing. Dig deep.\u201d <\/p>\n
