A second season of The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic<\/em> has been announced.<\/span><\/p>\n

Season 1 premiered in January 2024 and ran for 13 episodes. The anime<\/a> adapts\u00a0KADOKAWA-published light novel series<\/a> written by\u00a0Kurokata\u00a0<\/strong>and illustrated by\u00a0KeG<\/strong>. One Peace Books publishes both the light novels and\u00a0Reki Kugayama<\/strong>\u2018s manga adaptation in English and describes the former as:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Usato, an ordinary high schooler, happ<\/a>ens to run into two fellow students after school one rainy day. Suddenly, all three of them are engulfed in a magic circle and transported to a fantasy world. There\u2019s just one tiny problem\u2015Usato is simply dragged along by accident! On top of that, Usato learns that he is capable of using healing magic\u2015an incredibly rare affinity in this new world. Now Usato must spend his days with the rescue team thugs, struggling through their hellish training regimen\u2015learning the wrong way to use healing magic. Get ready for an eccentric otherworld fantasy filled with comedy and combat!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic<\/em> light novels are published under the MF Books label and ran from 2016 to 2020 with 12 volumes. The story was originally published as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel that debuted in 2014.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The first season of the anime was directed by\u00a0Takahide Ogata<\/strong>\u00a0(Motto! Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori<\/em>) with Shogo Yasukawa<\/strong>\u00a0(Otaku Elf<\/em>) as series composer and Kenji Tanabe<\/strong>\u00a0(Blue Lock<\/em> co-character designer) as character designer. Studio Add<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Shin-Ei Animation <\/strong>co-produced.<\/span><\/p>\n
