Meta has closed Lone Echo<\/em> series<\/a> developer Ready at Dawn, a spokesperson for Meta confirmed to Gematsu. Further statement was not provided. <\/p>\n

Ready at Dawn was established in 2003, and acquired by Meta in June 2020 for its virtual reality game<\/a> development capabilities.<\/p>\n

Outside of the Lone Echo<\/em> series, Ready at Dawn is primarily known for its work on a number of Sony Interactive Entertainment games, including Daxter<\/em>, God of War: Chains of Olympus<\/em>, and God of War: Ghost of Sparta<\/em> for PSP, God of War: Origins Collection<\/em> for PlayStation 3, and The Order: 1886<\/em> for PlayStation 4.<\/p>\n

According to Android Central<\/a>, which first broke the news<\/a>, Meta is encouraging former Ready at Dawn staff to app<\/a>ly for a role elsewhere within Oculus Studios, and hopes to retain as many employees as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
