After fans noticed there was an unspoken friction and distance between the cast of domestic abuse drama It Ends With Us<\/em> and director\/star\u00a0Justin Baldoni<\/strong>, several insiders have come forward with their versions of events.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve heard there was actually a huge feud between\u00a0Blake Lively<\/strong> and Justin behind the scenes, and that seems pretty consistent \u2014 the question is why. Some sources have claimed Blake and hubby\u00a0Ryan Reynolds<\/strong> pushed their Hollywood weight around and got too involved in the creative decisions of the movie \u2014 at the expense of its director. We\u2019ve heard they thought this could be an\u00a0Oscar<\/strong> opportunity for Blake and got too hands-on trying to make it perfect, essentially taking Justin\u2019s movie away from him.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, we\u2019ve also heard Justin was the one who was being unreasonable as a director. A source told\u00a0DailyMail.com<\/em> on Friday he was something of a \u201cmethod actor\u201d and became scary and \u201cchauvinistic\u201d in the way he dismissed Blake, author Colleen Hoover<\/strong>, and any other women\u2019s opinions about the abuse scenes:<\/p>\n

\u201cJustin almost became the character in the sense that some women on set felt he was borderline abusive to them and that he was unprofessional and unapologetic.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Clearly Blake and Justin had issues. But it wasn\u2019t just Blake from whom Justin was keeping his distance at the premiere and in promo. It\u2019s the whole cast. So what\u2019s the deal?<\/p>\n

Sources seem to corroborate the report about Justin\u2019s behavior, with an industry insider telling Page Six<\/em> there were a few moments he made Blake \u201cuncomfortable\u201d about her postpartum body. App<\/a>arently it was a sore spot. She got called \u201cfrumpy\u201d online after early behind-the-scenes pics from set leaked. So she realized the wardrobe wasn\u2019t working and dug into her own closet, as well as borrowing from friend\u00a0Gigi Hadid<\/strong>, sources say. So if he made her feel worse about it\u2026 oof, we can see why she\u2019d be upset!<\/p>\n

And no, it was not just the film\u2019s star. Another insider said he created an \u201cextremely difficult\u201d atmosphere for the entire cast. The first source said:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not just Blake. None of the cast enjoyed working with Justin\u2026 They certainly didn\u2019t talk to him at the premiere.\u201d<\/p>\n

That would make sense, considering the frosty environment at the premiere. And it\u2019s worse than just what fans noticed!<\/p>\n

Sources told the outlet after the red carpet at the premiere, Justin wasn\u2019t even in the theater with the rest of the cast! Blake, her sister\u00a0Robyn Lively<\/strong> and her kids, along with Ryan, co-star\u00a0Brandon Sklenar<\/strong>,\u00a0Hugh Jackman<\/strong>, and others watched in one theater. Justin and his wife Emily<\/strong> (who is also in the movie in a small role) sat in a different theater at AMC Lincoln Square with his friends and family, Sony execs, and employees of his production company.<\/p>\n

Worth noting, other sources who had worked with Baldoni told Page Six<\/em> they didn\u2019t think he would never make anyone feel uncomfortable on purpose.<\/p>\n
