\n The Daily Show<\/em> has lined up its guests \u2014\u00a0as well as the rotation of hosts \u2014\u00a0for the Democratic National Convention.<\/p>\n

\n The Comedy Central late-night show will broadcast from Chicago during the convention, setting up shop at the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture in the city\u2019s Lakeview neighborhood, a few miles north of the festivities at the United Center. \n As The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> revealed in June, Jon Stewart will host a live show Thursday, the closing night of the convention. (The Daily Show<\/em> had planned to be at the Republican convention in Milwaukee in July as well but scrapp<\/a>ed the on-site shows following the attempt on nominee Donald Trump\u2019s life.) The rest of the week is now set as well, with the show\u2019s correspondents taking on hosting duties from Monday to Wednesday and a guest lineup in place.<\/p>\n

\n Michael Kosta will host Monday\u2019s show, with Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer scheduled to be the guest. Desi Lydic takes the anchor desk on Tuesday and will interview Illinois Rep. Lauren Underwood. Jordan Klepper will host Wednesday\u2019s show, and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore will be the guest. Stewart will wrap the week with a live telecast at 11:30 p.m. ET Thursday, a half-hour later than the show\u2019s usual time. (The Monday-Wednesday shows will be taped a few hours before airing in their normal 11 p.m. spot.)<\/p>\n

\n The Daily Show<\/em> has been travel<\/a>ing to the major party political conventions since 2000, with the exception of 2020 when the show was in remote production (and the conventions themselves were greatly scaled back) during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n
