Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom\u00a0<\/em>is returning to Japanese theaters for a limited time with a \u201cspecial version\u201d that \u201cupdates\u201d over 500 cuts.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be two screening periods for the updated version of Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom<\/em>, and each features a different, newly-added epilogue. The first screening period is September 20 to October 3 JST, and the other is November 1 to November 14 JST.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom<\/em> originally premiered in Japan on January 26 JST. 4DX, MX4D, and Dolby Cinema screenings started on February 9 JST. The movie is a sequel to 2002-2003\u2019s Mobile Suit Gundam Seed<\/em>\u00a0and 2004-2005\u2019s\u00a0Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny<\/em> TV series<\/a>, and is also the highest-grossing Gundam film.<\/span><\/p>\n

In C.E.75, the fighting still continues. There is aggression by radical Anti-Coordinator group Blue Cosmos. In order to calm the situation, a global peace monitoring agency called COMPASS is established with Lacus Clyne as its leader. As members of COMPASS, Kira Yamato and his comrades intervene in regional battles across the world. Now, a newly established nation called Foundation proposes a joint operation against a Blue Cosmos stronghold\u2026<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
