As you likely know, not everything it\u2019s trained on will be correct. That said, the browser tool available with GPT-4 allows the product to get more recent information.<\/li>\n<li>There are a variety of things ChatGPT can get flatly wrong: facts, math problems and code.<\/li>\n<li>While it has access to a lot of data and can organize that data in interesting ways, it\u2019s unlikely to have an expert level of \u201ctaste\u201d or knowledge about any individual subject (yet, anyway).<\/li>\n<li>ChatGPT wasn\u2019t designed to be an SEO tool, so while you can create prompts for things like keyword research, clustering, link building, etc., keep in mind that its responses and suggestions frequently won\u2019t use the same types of data sets (driven by search popularity and competition) as your favorite SEO tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you ask ChatGPT for a list, don\u2019t expect it to be curated at an elite level. Don\u2019t just assume it will work if you ask it to write code or generate an Excel formula.<\/p>\n<p>If you ask it to write an article, don\u2019t assume everything it generates will be accurate or well-written (particularly on topics requiring specialized knowledge).<\/p>\n<p>QA is your friend!<\/p>\n<p>I like to think of prompts as tasks like creating a content brief, using a search operator or creating a statement of work (SOW).<\/p>\n<p>Based on that approach, here are specific tips for crafting a good prompt:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be as clear and thorough with your prompt as possible.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure ChatGPT is capable of doing what you\u2019re asking it to.<\/li>\n<li>Refine your prompt as you see the output and use your experiences with ChatGPT to inform future prompts.<\/li>\n<li>Try to anticipate and address the areas where it may get <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>ped up as much as possible with the prompt itself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-best-and-worst-chatgpt-seo-prompts\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_best_and_worst_ChatGPT_SEO_prompts\"><\/span>The best (and worst) ChatGPT SEO prompts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As with most topics, many people are sharing great information about ChatGPT prompts for SEO. However, some prompts people have shared fall between mediocre and downright harmful.<\/p>\n<p>Below, I listed examples of what I think are largely \u201cgood\u201d (or helpful, to steal a term from Google) prompts and what I think are \u201cbad\u201d (unhelpful to harmful) prompts.<\/p>\n<p>These examples offer specific ideas for prompts that can help make you more efficient and some prompts that can get you into trouble (or waste your time).<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-good\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_good\"><\/span>The good<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We\u2019ll start with some useful prompts. Again, I can\u2019t emphasize this enough: QA the output of everything you get from ChatGPT!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Information can be (dangerously) wrong or misleading and code can break in the worst ways.<\/p>\n<p>While Google has stated that AI-generated content isn\u2019t explicitly in violation of its search guidelines, it\u2019s certainly possible for your site to get into trouble with it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keyword and topic brainstorms<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ChatGPT is a helpful brainstorming tool for various tasks, including keyword research.<\/p>\n<p>It is particularly useful as an early starting point for getting ideas for keywords and topics.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s assume I\u2019m creating a site aimed at delivering information about coaching for youth basketball coaches:<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1032\" height=\"808\" alt=\"ChatGPT -
