href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/JZKmihCrp8I\">interview<\/a> to mark the 30th anniversary of Oasis\u2019s 1994 album <i>Definitely Maybe<\/i>, Noel Gallagher praised his brother Liam\u2019s voice. \u201cWhen I would sing a song, it would sound good. Noel has called Liam <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/whats-on\/music-nightlife-news\/noel-gallagher-guardian-interview-liam-16700222\">\u201cunsophisticated,\u201d<\/a> a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2019\/music\/news\/noel-gallagher-interview-1203263830\/\">\u201cfilthy little misogynist sexist prick,\u201d<\/a> and, most poetically, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/music\/2023\/nov\/23\/hes-a-man-with-a-fork-in-a-world-of-soup-the-bitterest-music-duo-spats\">\u201ca man with a fork in a world of soup.\u201d<\/a> Liam has volleyed back, most often on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>. It was there, in 2016, that he labeled his older brother a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/liamgallagher\/status\/735067737647685633?lang=en-GB\">\u201cpotato.\u201d<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>            The \u201c10 shots of tequila\u201d comparison, in hindsight, looks to have been the first sign of a thaw in the frosty relationship. Over the weekend, rumors of an Oasis reunion began to emerge, and on Tuesday, the band officially announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of 2025 stadium shows in the U.K. and Ireland. Press materials describe the dates as the \u201cdomestic leg\u201d of the tour adding that \u201cplans are underway\u201d for shows in other continents later in the year. <\/p>\n<p>            There has been no specific reason given for the reunion \u2014 some point to the anniversaries of the band\u2019s stand-out albums <i>Definitely Maybe<\/i> and 1995\u2019s <i>(What\u2019s The Story) Morning Glory?<\/i>, others the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AaronNagler\/status\/1828143611323822460\">cost of tea bags<\/a> \u2014 but the truth is that an Oasis reunion has always been a <i>when<\/i>, not <i>if<\/i>, situation. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            While the band remains one of Britain\u2019s most entertaining soap operas, Oasis are not purely a source of drama. Their music has provided millions with an enduring source of escapism, adrenaline, unification, and starry-eyed romanticism. At their best Oasis songs shone a spotlight on the dreams of the working class (\u201cYou\u2019re the outcast \/ You\u2019re the underclass \/ But you don\u2019t care \/ \u2019Cos you\u2019re living fast,\u201d Liam snaps on \u201cBring It On Down\u201d) and, as on \u201cAcquiesce,\u201d underscored the importance of loving relationships with heartfelt mantras (\u201cBecause we need each other, We believe in one another.\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>            The band\u2019s absence has felt like both someone missing from the party and a wasted opportunity. The Oasis vacuum is a real phenomenon and lots of bands have tried to fill the void. Kasabian, The Courteeners, Viva Brother to name a few, have wilted under the pressure and knowledge that one day the real deal would return. Arctic Monkeys arguably came closest but have strayed in the last half-decade by diversifying their sound, something neither Gallagher would entertain. Matty Healy is a Gallagher in spirit but The 1975 are too self-aware to achieve the simple, swaggering pleasures of Oasis. For a generation of lager-drinking, Adidas-sporting fans the search for the next Oasis has never shifted onto whether anything else out there was for them. Oasis have even become a part of the great AI debate thanks to AISIS, an album-length project of music with AI-generated vocals in the style of Liam, released last year. Liam co-signed the project after it went viral, buoyed by fans desperate for some form of comeback, synthetically generated or otherwise.<\/p>\n<p>            More recently Oasis, and Britpop more <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>ly, have become a reference point for a range of different artists. Frank Ocean <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/FrankOcean\/comments\/1aewuy1\/frank_ocean_listening_to_oasis_making_all_us\/#lightbox\">listens to <i>Definitely Maybe<\/i><\/a> in his seaside home, Kendrick Lamar <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dazeddigital.com\/fashion\/article\/62569\/1\/kendrick-lamar-drake-diss-rap-beef-oasis-t-shirt-meet-the-grahams-not-like-us\">wears their merch<\/a>, Dua Lipa <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/theface.com\/music\/dua-lipa-pop-music-interview-volume-4-issue-001\">references the era<\/a> as a shorthand for optimism, and both A.G. Cook and Nia Archives have looked to the guitar-heavy \u201890s scene as an accent in their future-facing dance music. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Both Gallaghers have helped keep the legend of Oasis alive with their subsequent career arcs. Whether you saw Noel with his band The High Flying Birds or Liam with the now-defunct Beady Eye and subsequent solo career, you were guaranteed to get a healthy amount of Oasis songs in those live shows (most recently, Liam performed <i>Definitely Maybe<\/i> in full for a 30th-anniversary tour with original Oasis guitarist Paul \u201cBonehead\u201d Arthurs.) And then there is the raft of documentaries, live DVDs, and reissues that both satiate that diehard fan base and help introduce them to new generations. Ironically, the one thing the Gallaghers have been able to agree on since 2009 has been the importance of their own band\u2019s back catalog. <\/p>\n<p>            Whether it\u2019s rose-tinted memories of the \u201890s fading away in the dying light or proof that nostalgia remains the most revitalizing drug in the Oasis universe that isn\u2019t white and powdery, this is a reunion that\u2019s hard to tear your eyes away from. Two men whose love language is calling each other scum announcing a tour a year in advance feels like a gamble worthy of Las Vegas. Can they avoid falling out for that long to make it onto the stage? Will they even speak to one another? What will they open their set with? How will they sound? Who will support them? Will they add more dates? <\/p>\n<p>            The risk and unpredictability of what is to come is counteracted only by the inevitability of it all. This was always going to h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en and will almost certainly run smoothly.
