After a long period of secrecy, it has now been decided who will be voicing the role of Kogoro Mori in the anime<\/a> series<\/a> \u201cDetective Conan\u201d in Germany! The roles of Agasa and Yusaku Kudo have also been recast.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the spring of this year, Kogoro Mori’s long-time voice actor, J\u00f6rg Hengstler, passed away. (we reported<\/em>) For a long time it was not clear who would fill the big shoes that J\u00f6rg left behind. Now, with yesterday’s cinema release of “Detective Conan: The Movie – The Million Dollar Pentagram,” the answer has been shed. From now on, the voice actor Dirk Bublies<\/strong> the role of Kogoro Mori in Germany. Kogoro’s voice was selected in a casting that the dubbing studio conducted together with the Japanese licenser TMS Entertainment.<\/p>\n

Together with Giuliana Jakobeit (spokesperson for Ran Mori), Dirk Bublibes published a video statement this morning on the social media<\/a> platform Instagram, which we of course do not want to withhold from you here:<\/p>\n

The voices of Professor Agasa and Shinichi’s father Yusaku Kudo were also newly cast. In the case of Professor Agasa, unfortunately, the death of Frank Ciazynski (we reported<\/em>) was the reason for the new casting, in the case of Yusaku Kudo the well-deserved retirement of Detlef Bierstadt was the reason. In future, Agasa will be voiced by Peter Reinhardt, while the role of Yusaku Kudo will be played by Jan Kurbjuweit.<\/p>\n
