A <\/span>new key visual<\/span> has been released for the upcoming second season of <\/span>Ron Kamonohashi\u2019s Forbidden Deductions<\/span><\/i>, which spotlight the titular character under a moonlit nightly cityscape. The second season will debut in Japan on October 7, 2024.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Shota Ibata<\/b> (<\/span>The Saint\u2019s Magic Power is Omnipotent<\/span><\/i>) is directing the <\/span>second season<\/span>, with <\/span>My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU<\/span><\/i> author <\/span>Wataru Watari<\/b> (<\/span>The Saint\u2019s Magic Power is Omnipotent<\/span><\/i>) as series<\/a> screenwriter, <\/span>Masakazu Ishikawa<\/b> (<\/span>The Saint\u2019s Magic Power is Omnipotent<\/span><\/i>) as character designer, and <\/span>Yo Tsuji<\/b> (<\/span>The Mystic Archives of Dantalian<\/span><\/i>) as music composer. <\/span>Diomed\u00e9a<\/b> is handling the animation production for the series.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the anime<\/a>\u2019s voice cast stars <\/span>Yohei Azakami<\/b> as Ron Kamonohashi and<\/span> Junya Enoki<\/b> as Totomaru. They are joined by <\/span>Yoshitsugu Matsuoka<\/b> as Mylo Moriarty and <\/span>Yumiri Hanamori<\/b> as Winter Moriarty, among other cast members.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The anime is based on the mystery manga series by <\/span>Akira Amano<\/b>, which began serialization in Shueisha\u2019s Shonen Jump+ online platform on October 11, 2020. Fourteen tankobon volumes have been released as of June 2024, with a 15th volume due out on October 4, 2024. The manga is also being digitally released under the title <\/span>Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective<\/span><\/i> in English and Spanish on the Manga PLUS service.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The first season aired in Japan for 13 total episodes from October 2, 2023 to December 25, 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ron Kamonohashi was once regarded as a genius at the top detective training academy. But after a fatal mistake, he was expelled and forbidden to become a detective. Years later, police officer Totomaru Isshiki knocks on Ron\u2019s door seeking help on a serial murder case. He finds Ron, now a messy-haired recluse, who agrees. Together, this mismatched detective team begins solving their first mystery!<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n
