The two A-listers are in the process of splitting up, of course. And we\u2019ve heard plenty of commentary from all kinds of insiders about how each one of them is supposedly taking the split. But now, to hear a new insider tell it on Monday, it sounds like the\u00a0Good Will Hunting<\/em> star is taking things as well as he can, while the\u00a0Waiting For Tonight<\/em> singer is\u2026 not.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0People<\/em> on Monday afternoon, a source insisted that the 52-year-old actor is \u201cfocused on the positives\u201d even as his marriage crumbles to a close. Meanwhile, the feelings are app<\/a>arently very much NOT mutual. According to the source, the Selena<\/em> star is still carrying \u201csome bitterness\u201d even despite her most recent social media<\/a> posts which are attempting to show that she\u2019s at peace with the situation.<\/p>\n

The insider claimed that Affleck is \u201cdoing well,\u201d and \u201cslowly moving into his new home,\u201d while adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s where he wants to be: close to his kids and in a neighborhood that he loves. He enjoys working, too, and is very focused on the positives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lopez, on the other hand, is apparently a good deal more sour over the split. While the superstar singer \u201cstill feels very fortunate\u201d about her life as it stands right now, there is apparently \u201csome bitterness\u201d still associated with the split in her mind. That is still prevalent because, to hear this source explain it, she just could never make things work with the Argo\u00a0<\/em>star:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe tried so hard to make things work and it didn\u2019t matter to Ben.\u201d<\/p>\n
