“#14 shot Tuesday and Wednesday as NYC gun violence continues<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n Fourteen people were shot \u2014 two fatally \u2014 Tuesday into early Wednesday as gun violence continued to rattle the city, cops said.<\/p>\n

Among the victims was a nurse who was blasted in the shoulder just after 9 a.m. Tuesday in Red Hook near Bay and Clinton Streets \u2014 just moments after taking her driving test, according to surces.<\/p>\n

The woman in her 50s was transported to Methodist Hospital, where she was treated for the graze wound. She was not believed to be the intended target, cops said.<\/p>\n

Hours earlier, a drive-by shooter in a white sedan fired at a 43-year-old man, striking him in the left leg on Jackson Avenue near East 152nd Street in the Bronx around 2 a.m. before fleeing, according to police.<\/p>\n

Late Tuesday night, a a 33-year-old man was blasted in the torso on Van Siclen Avenue near Livonia Avenue in Brownsville around 11 p.m., cops said.<\/p>\n

He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center by private means, and simply described hearing shots and feeling pain.<\/p>\n

About a half-hour earlier, a 42-year-old man was shot in the right hand and a 46-year-old woman was blasted in the right leg around on the grounds of the Marcy Houses on Marcy Avenue near Ellery Street, cops said.<\/p>\n

Both are believed to be innocent bystanders and cops believe the shooter \u2014 who is still on the loose \u2014 was aiming for someone else.<\/p>\n

Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n

A few dozen shell casings could be found on the sidewalk nearby, according to police sources.<\/p>\n

Around 9:30 p.m., Dahmel Miller, 23, was blasted in the stomach and buttocks inside a building on Vernon Boulevard near 40th Avenue, on the grounds of the Queensbridge Houses, cops said.<\/p>\n

Surveillance video from the lobby indicates Miller, of Brooklyn, was shot somewhere between the front door and the first-floor staircase, according to cops.<\/p>\n

He managed to make it up to the third-floor hallway, where he was found unconscious, cops said.<\/p>\n

He was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

The shooter remains at large.<\/p>\n

The other fatal shooting victim Tuesday was Christopher Campbell, 20, shot around 3 p.m. on Far Rockaway Boulevard near Gerson Court in Far Rockaway, cops said.<\/p>\n

He was taken to St. John\u2019s Episcopal Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.<\/p>\n

A 19-year-old man was also shot in the leg and a 21-year-old woman was struck in the leg and ankle during the gunplay, cops said. They were both listed in stable condition at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.<\/p>\n

A total of seven shootings with 12 victims were reported on Tuesday alone, according to preliminary figures released by the NYPD.<\/p>\n

On that day in 2019, only one shooting was reported, cops said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
