Mehta established a timeline for the remedies phase of Google\u2019s antirust trial during a hearing in Washington, D.C. on Friday, the outcome of which could upend how people find information on the internet. Prosecutors have until the end of the year to submit their proposals, which could take aim at Google\u2019s billion-dollar payments to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le in exchange for priority placement, or potentially order Google to sell off parts of its business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A lot can change in one year, however, especially given the upcoming U.S. presidential election. Republican and Democratic donors are both reportedly asking the candidates to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2024-09-06\/kamala-harris-donors-privately-want-ftc-s-lina-khan-sec-s-gary-gensler-removed\">shake up <\/a>America\u2019s tough regulatory environment.
