These include the disruption of blood flow to the organs, obstructions in mechanical ventilation, post-operative pain, and delayed recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Spatium Medical\u2019s insufflator promises a solution. The startup\u2019s patented turbine <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> keeps the gas pressure consistently stable. It also synchronises with mechanical ventilation, which can reduce pressure levels by up to 10%, minimising pulmonary complications. Behind its technology is a team of clinicians and researchers from Erasmus MC and the TechRes Lab in Milan, Italy.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Expected_launch_in_2026\"><\/span>Expected launch in 2026<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The startup might be young (founded two years ago), but it has big ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo bring this innovative technology, developed here in Rotterdam, to the point where it will become the next standard of care for minimal invasive surgeries worldwide,\u201d said the company\u2019s CEO Willem Mees van der Bijl.<\/p>\n<p>With the fresh capital, Spatium Medical plans to complete the development of its insufflation device and run clinical trials to receive certification.
