\n Elizabeth Olsen is still open to putting on her super suit and returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.<\/p>\n

\n The Assessment<\/em> actress has portrayed Wanda\u00a0Maximoff, aka the Scarlet Witch, in the Marvel universe since 2015\u2019s\u00a0Avengers: Age of Ultron<\/em>, including in her own TV series<\/a>, WandaVision<\/em>, in 2021. Her most recent app<\/a>earance as the superhero was in 2022\u2019s\u00a0Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n \u201cIt\u2019s a character that I love going back to when there\u2019s a way to use her well, and I think I have been lucky that when I started I was used well within\u00a0Age of Ultron<\/em>,\u201d Olsen said<\/a> of the role during a recent interview with Dublin\u00a0radio outlet FM104<\/a>. \u201cAnd then, I think people didn\u2019t know what to do with me for a second there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n However, she said they eventually \u201cwere able to utilize the character well in interesting ways of telling stories in ways they hadn\u2019t yet,\u201d specifically with WandaVision<\/em>, which scored her an Emmy nomination for best lead actress in a limited or anthology series or movie.<\/p>\n

\n \u201cSo if there\u2019s a good way to use her I\u2019m always happy to come back, however they can make that make sense,\u201d Olsen admitted.<\/p>\n

\n The Love & Death<\/em> star has previously been open about wanting to explore characters outside of the MCU, as she gets \u201csatisfaction from the variation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n \u201cIt\u2019s not that I don\u2019t want to be associated as just this character, but I really feel like I need to be building other parts back up for balance. I so much want to do films right now,\u201d Olsen told The Times of London<\/em> in September 2023. \u201cAnd I hope some of them come together in the way I feel like they can. But yeah, that\u2019s something that I need. I just need more, other characters in my life. There\u2019s no longevity in one character.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
